This Privacy Policy covers and describes how Cyren Ltd. (“Cyren”) collects, uses and disclosure of information we collect through our websites www.Cyren.com, www.eleven.de and Web Security and Mail Security (“My Eleven”) platforms. The use of information collected through our service shall be limited to the purpose of providing the service for which the Client has engaged Cyren.

Cyren is a global corporation with operations in over eight countries, and has developed global data protection practices designed to assure your Personal information is appropriately protected. Your Personal information may be transferred, accessed and stored globally as necessary for the uses stated in accordance with this policy. By accessing our websites www.Cyren.com, www.eleven.de or by using our Web Security and Email Security platforms, you consent to the transfer of information to countries outside of your country of residence, which may different data protection rules than those of your country.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this privacy policy to reflect changes to our information practices. If we make any material changes we will notify you by email (sent to the e-mail address specified in your account) or by means of a notice on this Site prior to the change becoming effective. Cookies

We employ a software technology called clear gifs (a.k.a. Web Beacons/Web Bugs), that help us better manage content on our site by informing us what content is effective. Clear gifs are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, and are used to track the online movements of Web users. In contrast to cookies, which are stored on a user’s computer hard drive, clear gifs are embedded invisibly on Web pages and are about the size of the period at the end of this sentence. We tie the information gathered by clear gifs to our customers’ personally identifiable information.

We use clear gifs in our HTML-based emails to let us know which emails have been opened by recipients. This allows us to gauge the effectiveness of certain communications and the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns. If you would like to opt-out of these emails, please see “Choice and Opt-out.

Our service provider use cookies to make it easier for you to navigate our site, monitor website performance and to provide capabilities to retain requested investor relations documents. Aggregate Information

We use non-identifying and aggregate information to better design our Web site and analyze user trends. This includes reviewing data and information contained in log files located on our Web server, which record the date and time of each visit to the site, the user’s IP (internet protocol) address, the referring URL (the prior Web site visited) and the files viewed on our Web site (including HTML pages, documents downloaded etc.).

We do not disclose, sell, rent or share any information derived from log files with any third parties.

Social Media Widgets.

Our Web site includes Social Media Features, such as the Facebook Like button [and Widgets, such as the Share this button or interactive mini-programs that run on our site]. These Features may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on our site, and may set a cookie to enable the Feature to function properly. Social Media Features and Widgets are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our Site. Your interactions with these Features are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing it.

Registration to the Site

Although you may generally use our site without providing us with any personally identifiable information, for some applications or services – such as access to white papers, newsletters, online events or evaluation software – you may be asked to voluntarily provide certain types of personally identifiable information. If Cyren is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, you will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on our Web site of any change in ownership or uses of your personal information, as well as any choices you may have regarding your personal information.

Choice and Opt-Out

The only users that will receive ongoing correspondence from Cyren are those that specifically request to receive a newsletter or other correspondence by completing a registration form. We do, however, reserve the right to contact registered users from time to time, and within reason, for example, to offer our services to relevant potential customers or partners or relevant marketing material to our users. We will not, however, send unsolicited messages to users of our site who indicate that they do not wish to receive such messages. Your Right to Review & Modify Data & Information

You have the right, at any time, to review, delete and/or modify any of your personally identifiable information that you provide during registration, or any other voluntarily provided information. To do this, edit your profile on the site or by emailing our Customer Support at info@cyren.com.To protect your privacy and security, we will also take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access or making corrections. We will respond to your request to access within 30 days.

We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy and ensure the correct use of information, we have applied reasonable and appropriate physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. Cyren collects information under the direction of its Clients, and has no direct relationship with the individuals whose personal data it processes.

Choice

We collect information for our clients, if you are a customer of one of our Clients and would no longer like to be contacted by one of our Clients that use our service, please contact the client that you interact with directly.

Service Provider, Sub-Processors/Onward Transfer

Cyren may transfer personal information to companies that help us provide our service. Transfers to subsequent third parties are covered by the provisions in this Policy regarding notice and choice and the service agreements with our Clients

Access to Data Controlled by our Clients

Cyren has no direct relationship with the individuals whose personal data it processes. An individual who seeks access, or who seeks to correct, amend, or delete inaccurate data should direct his query to the Cyren’s Client (the data controller). If the Client requests to remove the data, we will respond to their request within 30 business days.

Data Retention

Cyren will retain personal data we process on behalf of our Clients for as long as needed to provide services to our Client. Cyren will retain and use this personal information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
